After breakfast we pick up at the Hotel Or Raid where you’re staying in Marrakech. The first day of the tour, I drove toward Ouarzazate, passing through the High Atlas Mountains past Tizi N’Tichka and stopped there for a break to take some lovely pictures for this fantastic place. Then we will continue our way to Ouarzazate. Continue east, traveling through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, many in disrepair as they’re constructed of pise mud. As you head toward Boumalne Dades, you will pass many small towns where you can see traditional farming methods. Be on the lookout for nomads tending to their animals as you make your way through fragrant the Valley of the Roses. We’ll eventually arrive in Boumalne Dades, where we will spend Night.
After breakfast, we will start our tour along the banks of Boumalne Dades, road of 1001 kasbahs from Dades Valley to Todra Gorges. We will visit one of the most fascinating Oases in Morocco. Todra and walk along the Canyons of about 300M high which is the best place for mountain climbers.Then we will continue our journey to Merzouga desert. On our road we will pass through many Berber villages. Continue to the desert town of Erfoud. Known for its figs and fossils, visit a craft workshop and discover how the fossil Rich rocks are skillfully transformed into practical and decorative objects. Return with the Dromedaries to the place where you are waiting for you. We will go to Rissani, to visit Rissani town, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani is still a major trading center in the region, with a large souk lively on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Then we take the road to Ouarzazate through the Draa Valley, one of the longest rivers in Morocco. Ouarzazate where we will spend the night.
