You will meet your guide in the airport in Ouarzazate early in the morning. Then we explore the city of Ouarzazate. Visiting the Atlas Studio where famous movies were shot, and also visiting Taourirt Kasbah. Then drive southeast to visit Amridil Kasbah surrounded by palm groves in Skoura. Thereafter we continue to Rose valley. A Rose Festival is held annually in May, where the locals offer their rose products, from perfumes, rose water, oil, to cosmetic products.
Then we drive through the Dades valley, we stop at a spot overlooking the valley, to enjoy the spectacular landscape of Dades gorges. Then we continue to Todra Gorges, the course of Todra river has carved out a grand canyon through the mountains Making a high red cliff sided canyon. Free time for lunch. Feel free to wander in the gorges and appreciate the beauty of the landscape. After that we drive you via Erfoud which is known by fossils and Marbles then a Visit to a Carrier. Then we will continue our journey to the Merzouga Desert. On our road we will pass through many Berber villages and continue to the Merzouga Sahara Dinner Overnight in Hotel or Raid nearly to colden dunes.
After breakfast we will leave the Hotel and continue exploring the area, we visit the village of the Gnawa people, originally slaves from Sudan, to experience their music and lifestyle Khamlia village. Near this village, you can see the lake of Merzouga, with its flamingos. Also visit the nomad wirehouse where many Berber handicrafts are selling their product for good prices. Visit in their handmade woven tent. Learn how they live while drinking Berber tea. Our next destination is the. Free time for lunch in a restaurant.
After that we took a stroll in a palm tree grove. When we reach the Erg Chebbi sand dunes you switch to camels, to cross the heart of the Sahara Desert. Then a stop will be made for you on top of a big dune to observe the fantastic sunset. Then continue to the camp which is a combination between the traditional tents of nomads and the luxury Camp. In the campsite you enjoy the Berber drums music while dancing around the campfire, under the open sky of million stars. Dinner overnight stay in a luxury camp.
The last day of the tour is 3 days From Ouarzazate to Fes Sahara trip. If you’re not a sleepy person, wake up early in the morning to enjoy the beautiful sunset in the deep of the dunes. After that we drive along the Ziz river, we stop for a panoramic view of the Ziz valley. Free time for lunch in Midelt. Then we continue to the cedar forest, where the Barbary Macaques live. Feel free to feed them while wandering in the forest. After that we visited Ifrane, famous for its low temperature, snow and the alpine style houses. No wonder it’s called the Switzerland of Morocco.
