DAY 1: MARRAKECH – TELOUET – OUARZAZATE
Our wonderful trip around Morocco’s charming south and, its unspoiled desesrt is going to start by picking you up from your accommodation at Marrakech. Crossing the highest mountain pass in North Africa the Tizi N’Ticka pass, offering you some amazing views from what the high Atlas mountains contains; landscapes and, berber villages dotted along the rocky nature. Till we reach the magnificient kasbah of Telouet, that was a seat in its heydays, for one of the most powerful Men in Morocco, between the 16th and 17th century the Pacha El Glaoui. Here you will have a guided tour and get to enjoy lunch at a restaurant in the area. In the afternoon, we will continue our journey to a city known as the “Gate to the desert”, the charming Ouarzazate; Via the breath-taking Ounila valley, glimpsing berber villages along the road. To reach Ouarzazate in the evening, where you will enjoy dinner and overnight at a hotel.
DAY 2: OUARZAZATE – DRAA VALLEY – ZAGORA
In today’s program, our guide will take you in a tour, around one of the biggest movie studios around the world “Atlas studios”, where you will enjoy strolling around centuries while switching between sets, also you are going to visit locations where some of the universal tv shows and, movies such as “Game of Thrones”. Afterwards we are going to move towards the charming town of Zagora, via Draa Valley crossing the infinite palm groves and the tiny berber villages all along the road. You will enjoy Lunch upon arrival, a traditional dish will be served at a restaurant. Right after, we will take you to visit the unique town of Tamagroute, where you will get to explore the oldest quranic liberary in Morocco, also the Kasbah underground and, you will get to know more about the local manufacture of Pottery. Eventually, getting back to Zagora where you will spend the night at a hotel with dinner included.
DAY 3: ZAGORA – TAZARINE – ALNIF – RISSANI – MERZOUGA
After breakfast, we will resume our trip towards a unique destination today, the spectacular Merzouga; passing by some impressive southern berber villages, such as Taftechna and, Ait Ouaazique that will lead us to the great Tazarine and Alnif where you will enjoy dicovering an underground prison that became a museum and, enjoy Lunch before continuing our journey. Right after, we will continue to Merzouga via the small oasis town of Rissani; Eventually when arrived, you will be welcomed by camels, that will take you in a memorable adventure through the golden sandy dunes of Erg Chebbi. Under the spectacular sunset, that you will enjoy watching from the highest dune in North Africa. Eventually we will acces our traditional well equipped camp, here you will enjoy watching a berber music show, before savoring a tasty local dinner around the camp fire; overnight in a nomadic camel hair tent, under the milky way.
DAY 4: MERZOUGA – ERFOUD – TOUROUG – TINJDAD – TINGHIR
Early in the morning, you will wake up on one of the most swooning sunrise that you will ever witness, in the middle of the charming Sahara of Erg Chebbi you will enjoy your breakfast, while the sun warms your skin. Afterwards, we are going to ride our camels back to the town of Merzouga; there we are going to switch back to our 4×4 and, hit the road to the city of Erfoud, well known around Morocco as the Palm’s city; here you will have the chance to cross the breath-taking palm plantation o Touroug and, Tinijdad. Luncch is programmed at the location in front of this beauty before resuming our trip. Late in the afternoon, we will arrive at the Todgha gorges, where you will enjoy a tasty dinner in the hotel you will be staying at.
DAY 5: TINGHIR – BOUMALNE – GORGES DE DADES – ROSES VALLEY – KELAA MGOUNA – SKOURA – OUARZAZATE
Today’s morning, is dedicated for exploring the beautiful area of Todgha, that is considered as one of the most spectacular canyons around the world; with its red limestone cliffs that attracts climbers from all over he world. Next we will move towards the impressive area of Dades gorges where you will enjoy your lunch in a restaurant in front of the charming landscapes of the area. After a quiet stay, the road will carry you out to the city Of Kalaat M’gouna, well known as the roses city, you will have a worth stop at the roses Valley, to admire a carpet of pink and red roses; Thereupon, Via the Skoura we will reach the famous Kasbah of Amredhil, that was printed on the back of the Moroccan 50 Dh bill, here you will have a guided tour around the master-piece. Subsequently, we will arrive at Ouarzazate where you will enjoy dinner and, overnight at a hotel.
DAY 6: OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH
In the morning after breakfast, we will depart to the red city of Marrakech, drawing our way back through the beautiful landscapes of the south and, crossing the high Atlas mountains. Late in the afternoon when arrived at Marrakech, we will transfer you to your accommodation, here where our services ends.
