Excursion to sahara desert Merzouga from Ouarzazate in tour 3 days and 2 nights / 2 nights in erg chebbi dunes from Ouarzazate to south of Morocco in trip of 3 days
Day 1: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Kellat M’Gouna – Rose Valley – Dades Gorges – Boulmane – Todra Gorges
The tour to Morocco starts from Ouarzazate around 7:30am to Skoura where we will have a quick 20 minute visit to the Kasbah of Amredhyle, one of the southern wonders of the “Route of the thousand kasbahs”. We will continue our journey through the Valley of the Roses, where we will cross 50 km of off-road tracks in the Valley. Visit to the Kasbah of Ait Youl. Before heading to Boulmane, we will have lunch at the top of Dades Gorges, arriving in Tinghir and 20km later, to its fabulous views, and to Todra Canyon Gorges.
Day 2 : Toudra Gorges – Tinjdad – Touroug – Erfoud – Merzouga
Morning walk around Tinerghir’s palm plantations. We drive to Tinjedad for lunch and visit the Touroug palm plantations arriving at the village of Erfoud to visit a local fossil craft workshop. We continue to the fascinating dunes of Erg Chebbi, the dunes of Merzouga. We now move from our 4×4 to the camels, where you will be taken for a camel ride through the desert to enjoy the sunset on the dunes and spend the night in a real nomad bivouac. Dinner and overnight in a bivouac in nomadic Berber tents in the middle of the dunes of Merzouga.
Day 3 : Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Tazarine – Draa Valley – Agdz – Ouarzazate
Early morning departure to enjoy the sunrise in the Sahara desert, camel ride back to the hotel where the 4×4 are parked. Breakfast and departure to the palm plantation of Tafilalet passing by Rissani, the ancient Alaouite capital of the Sahara by the ancient Alaouite sultans. Road to Alnif where lunch is waiting. Visit to Tazzarine, Tansihkt and the oasis of Nkob. Road to Ouarzazate through the Draa valley and the Berber village of Agdz at the Ait Saoun pass at 1660m altitude. Arrival in Ouarzazate.
