Free day with a local guide we start the day by visiting Fes. After breakfast we start the route to the Merzouga Sahara Desert. We will begin the journey to the Desert crossing the university city of Ifrane, better known as the “Moroccan Switzerland” and for being one of the favorite cities of the King of Morocco together with the landscapes of the Atlas until we reach the Ziz Valley, an extensive palm grove. We will continue towards the Desert until we reach the impressive Dunes of Merzouga, where we will change our transport for a caravan of dromedaries that will take us to the Luxury camp in a one hour journey.
We will make a stop halfway to watch the sunset over the dunes and stretch our legs a bit before continuing to the camp. Once there, we will have a hospitality tea and we will have the opportunity to climb the great dune or the small dunes that are near the camp site. Enjoying the Berber drums music while dancing around the campfire, under the open sky of million stars. Dinner Overnight stay in a luxury camp.
If you’re not a sleepy person, wake up early in the morning to see the sunrise and without losing the opportunity to see a sunrise that is enjoyed like that in few places. After breakfast, we will say goodbye to the desert and return with the dromedaries to the place where our transport awaits us to take the route to Fes passing through the Ziz Valley, crossing the mountains of the Middle Atlas, we will reach the cedar forests where the macaques live in freedom. Once past the city of Ifrane, better known as the “Moroccan Switzerland” We continue our trip to Fes, we arrive there and transfer to Riad for a well deserved rest.
After breakfast, we take our route to the blue town “Chefchaouen” is a city located in the Rif mountains, in the northwest of Morocco. It’s known for the spectacular blue buildings of different shades of its old town, as well as for its cobbled and sloping streets, full of looms and leather goods. Free time to walk at your own pace through its pleasant medina and to explore its streets and markets of Chefchaouen.
We leave from Chefchaouen to Tangier via Tetouan taking a route of two and a half hours to reach the pearl of the north Tangier, transfer to the airport where you have your departure and there our services and the trip will end completely.
