4 Days from Fes to Marrakech via Desert Merzouga

Day 1: Fez – Middle Atlas – Ifran – Azrou – Ziz valley – Erfoud:

Your 4 days tour will start by exploring the green Middle Atlas Mountains and visiting Ifran or Switzerland of Morocco . Afterwards we will continue our drive to Midelt via the forest of the cedar trees where you will have chance to feed the Barbary monkeys in their natural habitat. Then continue to take pictures for the the beautiful Ziz valley of palmtrees enclosed between the high Atlas Mountains. Arriving to Erfoud, Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Exploring the regions of the Sahara-Camel trekking – Merzouga (Desert camp) :

After having breakfast, we depart from Erfoud enjoying the senneries of the dramatic stony desert, the blue sky, the green palm trees, then a visit will take place to Rissani to bustle and bargain in its traditional Souk, visit some of the Kasbah and Ksour in the Area, take off road to Merzouga while stopping for lunch with a Berber family. In the early afternoon, get ready and accompanied by a camelguide to go for an authentic camel trek experience of around 90 minutes where you can catch the sunset in the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes and spend a memorable night with millions of shiny stars, enjoy a Berber dinner, drum party and sleep in a traditional nomadic tent.

Day 3: Merzouga – Todra valley – Todra Goarge – Rose valley:

After an early wake up to watch the sunrise, you will ride your camels back to your hotel for taking a shower and eat breakfast, and head to Todra gorges Gorge via Tinghir and the lush valley of Todra where you will have a little hike along the narrow and high cliffs of Todra . You will also explore the amazing scenery of the dades valley with its unusual rock formations , known by the valley of one thousand Kasbahs. Overnight in hotel in the Rose valley.

Day 4: Rose valley – Ouarzazat – AitBenhadou – Marrakesh:

Following breakfast in the Rose valley, we continue the journey to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou. Situated on a hill along the Ouarzazate River, This beautiful example of southern Moroccan architecture has been used as a backdrop for over 20 famous movies including Lawrence of Arabia, Game of thrones, The Mummy, and Gladiator. Afterwards we will leave the authentic southern Morocco and drive to Marrakeh via the highest pass in Africa Tizi N’ Tichka (Altitude 2260 m ) while enjoying the super views of the giant High Atlas Mountains with the panoramic Berber villages. Drop off in your accommodation in Marrakech at 05:00 pm apx where the tour ends.
